Sceptical about any twitter rumour particularly from a random assign player to club generator but it’s plausible that we will sign a player or two of this calibre/league experience. With our league starting later than the EFL there will be a better opportunity than normal to pick up released players of genuine quality so I understand if the club are playing a bit of a waiting game to see what crops up. Our location could also be quite helpful if players want to be in and around London now for family reasons.
I liked Rees, Mekki and Goodman but I don’t see any reason to panic yet and feel confident we will be aiming for players that can get us in the promotion mix. With RSG and the others in charge I would hazard a guess we are better set financially than a number of our rivals.
Im relatively new to National League football rollercoaster and the entire 1 year or temporary contracts, so haven't quite got used to the concept of players coming in and out on a weekly basis, and your favourites coming and going. This year, I best get used to losing some favourites and getting some new favourites. Im there no matter what.
My father in law is a Spurs fan, he still finds it funny that a team at Bromley’s level can change its entire squad from one season to the next. For me having followed the club when it was in Ryman One and we used 57 players one season, now feels like stability!
